Making nexus mod manager download faster

forcing us to buy premium, by throttling the free users. I understand to keep the site up and running, they have to monetize it with potentially annoying ads. I understand people get upset with these ads, so they install a ad blocker. But to throttle the free user download speed, to have people buy into the "Premium" speed is quite frankly. On steam and Uplay I always get download speeds of around 1mb/s but NMM always drops to around kb/s Any way to improve this?
